Welcome to AMOC Area Eleven (North East London and Essex)
As the official representative I am generally required to liaise with
the main Club and co-ordinate club interests at a local level. This
entails making Club members aware of invitations, activities and social
events throughout the year, either at meetings, by personal contact or
via the monthly published news-sheet reports.
We have a lively, friendly, enthusiastic area with many active members
who are both helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects and traditions of
the club. By looking at our web page, as a member or even a prospective
member, you have initially shown an interest and possibly may consider
joining us, in which case we would welcome your company at our informal
monthly meetings.
These are normally held on the First Wednesday of each month, from about
8pm. as our previous regular pub has closed we will be trying a new
venue, The Fox & Goose,
Wyses Road, Cooksmill Green, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 3SN (just off the
A414 Ongar to Chelmsford Road, closer to Writtle). The bar food is
excellent and reasonably priced although a more comprehensive menu is
also available, for this booking a table may be advisable (01245
248245). Should you decide to join us and we hope you will, please make
yourself known to either Jan the landlady or anyone wearing club
insignia.
