Description:
Welcome to AMOC Area Twelve (North West London, Middlesex & Hertfordshire)
A very convivial meeting was enjoyed by all present, although some of
the regulars were missing. However, a warm welcome to Ian MacGregor who
found time in his busy, busy life to come along and join us. As always,
his company was great fun and enlivened the evening. Hope to see you
again in the future, Ian. It was also great to see Martin Brewer again
after a few months' absence, but then he has been just a bit busy!
Ladies, where were you this month? Michelle Royal and I just had to keep
the female corner going on our own. Needless to say it was not a very
quiet corner!
With the competitions season fast approaching, people were looking
forward to getting their cars out for the first race and track days.
Pete Foster, looking very trim, taut and, dare I say it Sue, terrific,
obviously cannot wait to get back on track. For those wanting to 'dip
their toes' don't forget Curborough on 2 April.
With the Area 12 forthcoming Springtime-In-Paris weekend fast
approaching, there was lots of chat regarding arrangements and talk of
'goodies' to look forward to. The party will begin at 8.00 am on
Saturday 22 March and, I suspect, will end, with copious amounts of
excellent Parisian food and wine having been consumed, late on Sunday
evening. How hard is life to cope with, one just has to ask oneself!
Please note my corrected email address at the head of this report.
Don't forget if you wish to be kept right up to date on all Area 12
happenings, please let me know your own email address. Never miss out
again!
Sorry I won't be at the next meeting guys, am off to other climes for a
while, but back soon. Thanks, Pat, for holding the fort. Bye for now.
