Nikki Cooper our Area Rep living in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire

Concours and social gatherings of AMOC, having some knowledge on the
later Aston Martin Models, John Wilkinson, newly appointed assistant Rep
is actively involved on the Competitive side having been involved in
several different car clubs, has a good knowledge of the race calendar,
safety aspects and regulations and spends most weekends of the racing
season Marshalling at venues all over the country, so together we have a
complimentary blend of representation for most aspects. We are planning
to get a commitee of willing helpers together which means we can
organise more successful and fun events. Nick masheter ex Assistant Rep
has a great knowledge of Classic Astons and is always willing to
reminisce or offer advice on the older models.Terry Snowdon, our
recently retired Rep (& wife Carolyn) still attends meetings and
has a wealth of knowledge and many years experience on all things Aston
Martin having recently retired from the organisational side of race
competitions & track days. Regular attendees to meetings include
several Aston Martin owners, enthusiasts, Race competitors, official
Marshalls, the editor of AM News, social members and Concours
competitors, mechanics, collectors and family. Guaranteed if you need to
know anything about your car or an event on the car
enthusiasts calendar someone in the room will be able to help you.
We are regularly joined by local companies, businessmen who have an
affiliation with cars or Aston Martins or can offer a service.
We at present hold meetings every 1st Wednesday of the month at The
Talbot Inn, Chaddesley Corbett, DY10 4SA nr. Kidderminster,
Worcestershire, (midway between the M42 & M5). A traditional pub and
restaurant, with a wealth of character, great atmosphere offering
fresh home cooked food and a safe car park for your well loved Astons
plus an outdoor family play area www.talbotinn.net
01562 777388. Food is served until 9pm for those of you who wish to
dine. People come and go throughout the evening depending on work &
family commitments. If we are having a speaker or anything needs to be
announced we usually wait until after 9pm when everyone has arrived and
finished eating! If you are attending our meeting for the first time
dont be shy, come and introduce yourself to Nikki the small blonde one
thats usually chattering away. Now meetings have grown in numbers the
pub can get quite busy and crowded but we always like to greet new
Members and introduce them to our crowd, we'd hate you to sit there
unnoticed!!
Our meetings are an informal & sociable gathering where any members
are welcome to attend and bring along family or friends and discuss
recent achievements, events both past & forthcoming and talk about
everything and anything including cars! We welcome anyone who would like
to come along and give a talk on anything that you think would be of
interest to the group, sharing an experience or information on a
particular aspect of Aston Martins. We are aware that distance for some
members can be an issue for evening metings, so we welcome suggestions
of new places to meet (we will come to you!), attractions to visit as a
club and anything you would like to include in meetings, such as
informative speakers, ideas and any improvements that you think could be
made- its your club, come and see us bring along photos, memorabilia,
and publications showing us how you enjoy your Aston Martins. We can
also include photos on the website if you want to share them. We have
been joined by several new members at meetings recently, its been great
to meet new people and see their beautiful cars, numbers are growing and
there has been a real buzz in the room. Keep up the good work, the
enthusiam brings new events and more excuses to meet up & get our
cars out!
Throughout the year there are several social events being planned, race
fixtures, track days, car factory visits, weekend events, meals, drives,
picnics, displays & meetings, so check the website calendar and
