Description:

Once you really did see them EVERWHERE....now join us in trying to keep that slogan alive today.

WELCOME to the wonderful world of  BEDFORD  VEHICLES ,   this website was established in 2001 and has recently been re.established following a major problem with the host server in the USA resulting in a temporary loss of the domain.

The BEDFORD-WORLD website is now an independently edited website as a spin off from the Bedford Register which was originally started in 1977 as The Vintage Bedford Register in an attempt to record details of preserved Bedfords in Britain, now we are a worldwide organisation and we are still collecting data, no matter what chassis type  the vehicles are.

The Bedford  name  has been known all around the world for the last 79 years as the supplier of small and medium weight commercial vehicles of all types and  you will find pages and information on  EVERY Bedford vehicle type ever made.

Our website aims are simple,  to keep our readers up to date with NEWS & INFORMATION from all around the world concerning BEDFORD vehicles and  also to help and assist owners and would-be owners whenever possible.

But our interest is not only preserved Bedfords that take our interest, we wish to present you with information in Bedfords at work and play, no matter whether it is an old school bus, a horsebox or  the off roaders with their trials trucks or a working fire engine.

Our organisation is truly worldwide with active supporters and friends in more than thirty eight countries and especially in the Unired Kingdom. Ireland, Australia, Malta, Namibia, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa.

nd please, if you see an old Beddie tucked away in an orchard, a barn, or yard, don't keep it to yourself,  let us know and we will see if anyone will rescue it,  we don't want it to end up like this pair of OB's seen in a wood in Northern England a few years ago by Stuart Bell and now sadly having rotted away beyond the point of no return.

Most of all we want to hear from our site visiters from all around the world, no matter whether you are a Bedford, Opel Blitz , AWD, Bedford Isuzu or Holden owner or just a fan of the BEDFORD marque,  please drop us a line ....to info@bedford-world.com

And finally we hope you enjoy your visit to Bedford-World and hope to see you back again real soon as we have now got over 500 photos to upload in the coming weeks..
