Description: BMW CAR CLUB SOUTH WEST As part on the National BMW Car Club here in the South West we try to cater for all club members. We cover all Devon, Cornwall and TA postcode area of Somerset. Although we are the smallest region on the mainland we are perfectly formed! We have own Concours; this will be held in June at the very attractive River Dart Country Park near Ashburton in association with Porsche Club South West. A full listing of our events is available on the club's web site and in Straight Six, our monthly magazine. Our AGM is in October when members can meet formally with the SW committee and discuss aspects of the region ie. future programme of events or perhaps contributing in other ways by joining the SW committee or just offers of help at events. We welcome members from all regions to these events.. On a more social aspect we have a monthly pub meet. These are very informal meetings with a chance to talk BMWs all evening and also enjoy a drink. A new venue is due to start at the Passage House Inn at Kingsteignton. The pub has a very good menu if you fancy a meal to start off the evening. These meets are on the last Thursday of every month, starting at approximately 7.30pm. All are welcome including non members and hopefully after spending an evening with us you may like to join the club. Last but not least in addition to our regional events we have a very large and varied national programme. The two biggest events are the National Festival at Gaydon in August, and the National Concours in September. So whether or not you are a member you will be made very welcome, it does not matter if your BMW is new or old, pristine or in need of a little TLC, come and check us out.
