Welcome to the Ford section of the Just Car Clubs website. As you can see we have a huge selection of Ford Car Clubs dedicated to so many different models and editions. The popularity of Ford is so vast that owners can enjoy many different types of car clubs, including local and regional car clubs, or even online based clubs.

The appeal of a ford car is very easy to see when looking at their history. Henry Ford first produced vehicles in 1903. By 1914 innovations in large scale production and in workforce management had reached all corners of the world, allowing other companies to try to emulate Ford’s success.  The infamous Model T first arrived in 1908 and revolutionised society’s response to the motor car; it was available around the world and was produced in a matter of days. Ford continued to produce a range of vehicles from several subsidiary companies, such as the Lincoln Motor Company. During World War II Ford, a pacifist, built a factory in Manchester, England to produce Rolls Royce Merlin engines for use in RAF aircraft such as the Avro Lancaster, Hawker Hurricane and Handley Page Halifax. The production lines developed by Ford meant that over 34,000 engines were produced for the RAF.

Following World War II Ford overcome a range of difficulties including the death of Edsel, Henry Ford’s Son, and Henry himself. Control was eventually turned over to Henry Ford II, who lead the company from strength to strength to where it is now. All of these changes lead to the introduction of a specialised team to help Ford grow into the company today. Many different ranges were introduced that have dominated decades due to their popularity. The Ford Cortina for example proved so popular in Europe that it sold exceedingly well for nearly 20 years. The Ford Escort also had similar success, as well as the Sierra. All of these models spawned many car clubs as fans became dedicated to their vehicles. Car clubs for these models are still going strong today, with thousands of members up and down the country.

Ford’s domination has continued up to the present day. Models such as the Fiesta, Focus (replacement of the Escort) and the introduction of the Ka have all lead to numerous car clubs being created in dedication to these models. There are many different types of car clubs that are aimed at the Ford owner. There are several historical societies who aim to preserve the love for the earlier models. These car clubs have meets all around the country and attend many shows and events. There are also car clubs for owners and enthusiasts of the many racing Fords that have been developed over the now century that Ford has been around. Fans of Ford GT racing and Ford Trucks have created their own car clubs that allow enthusiasts to come together and enjoy their passion. Car clubs can also be found for the current most popular models. The Fiesta, Focus and Ka all have car clubs around the country devoted to these makes. Up and down the UK you will find car clubs for each of these cars. These car clubs host many different events and activities for their members, including regular clubs meets and get-togethers; perfect for all enthusiasts!
