Description: Welcome to the Central London area meeting.
The Central London meeting has a simple theme - curry, Cobra and car
chat (three of my favourite things). In January 2009 we relocated to
the Barbican Tandoori on Aldersgate Street, near the Museum of London,
after our long-time haunt, the Raj, closed down. We meet for dinner
from 6.30pm and followed by a trip to a local purveyor of fine ale for
those with a late pass. We get a great mix of people, including a
number of well-known faces from the Club management team and regulars
from other areas. There is also the added advantage of being able to
enjoy a beer or three and not worry about the drive home. But fear not,
we may not all drive our 7s to the meeting but we still talk about them!
Recent topics include the latest on the L7C Sprint season, stories of
touring holidays, winter upgrades, and tales of Lotus 7s past and
present.
It’s a great way to wind down after a hard day and meet people from
other areas. New faces and occasional visitors are always welcome.
So go on, arrange a meeting in London for the last Wednesday of the
month and come and join us. We gather from about 6.30pm in the
restaurant, I'll be the one with a Cobra in my hand..............
