Description: The Northants Beds and Bucks Area covers a large slice of country and
we meet fairly centrally, just to the north of Milton Keynes near
Cosgrove, at the Navigation Inn on the third Wednesday of every month.
Monthly meets can attract up to 15 or more cars, with many of our
number enjoying a bar snack, or in the summer a chat in the garden, or
perhaps a tyre kicking session. Bonnets have known to have been removed.
We are very much an area of mixed interests with members touring both
in the UK and Europe, as well as track days and other competitive
events. We have all manner of cars, crossflows, Vauxhall powered, K
series and latest Cosworth and Sigma powered examples.
In 2010 we hosted the Clubs attendance at the Silverstone Classic in
July which we’ll be doing again in 2011. We organized a few visits, one
to Ultimate Performance who have worked on the development of the R500
cylinder head. Plans are developing for the year ahead, more details
will be either posted here or on Blatchat nearer the time.
