Town: Nationwide Car Clubs
Car Type: Totoya Car Clubs
Description:
The Toyota Enthusiasts Club was founded by enthusiasts in 1991, and is a non-profit making organisation which aims to promote the preservation and use of older Toyotas (generally over 10 years old), but membership is open to owners of all Toyotas (and latterly also Lexus variants) of any age and enthusiasts for the marque. We differ from other clubs on the internet in that we are well established, have a specific niche in catering for the owners of older Toyotas, and come from a traditional car show and enthusiast background.

The club aims to provide technical information and assistance with the location of spares, to establish regional groups and to arrange club displays at classic car shows, as detailed in our Constitution. Regalia is also available from the secretary.

During the show season (typically April to October) we attend a large number of traditional classic car events and Japanese specific shows, around the UK and sometimes abroad. We have also hosted our own 'National' event. Thus we hope to increase the pleasure of running an older Toyota by keeping in contact with other owners. The club is also a conduit for putting members cars forward to Classic Car Magazines and Film/TV producers.

UK membership costs £20 per year;

Eire membership costs £24 per year;

Other countries cost £28 due to increased postage charges of the quarterly TEC Topics magazine.

Subscriptions are due annually on the 1st March, but we have a reduced rate if you join part way through the year.
