Description: The Warwickshire 7’s is a friendly long established
meeting of Caterham and Lotus 7 owners and enthusiasts from the
Warwickshire area and surrounding Midland Counties. The group has been
affiliated to the Lotus 7 Club of Great Britain for over a decade.
Our common interest covers individuals with a
variety of reasons for their interest in the Marques. Some are at the
stage of not yet owning a car, or past owners, but with a love of the
cars and a genuine interest in them. There are others who have 7’s and
delight in taking touring holidays with them, both in the UK and on the
Continent – it can be done! As always with 7’s, there is a competition
interest, as 7’s are ideal cars for racing and other forms of
competitive motor sport.
We have links with Caterham and Lotus 7 owners in
other parts of the country and from time to time we do meet up with
other areas at events. Quite often these can be charity related as the
Lotus 7 Club members support Leukaemia Research and raise money for the
charity in many different ways.
As a group, we hope we can include the whole
spectrum of interest that Caterham and Lotus owners and enthusiasts
share, and we have a good reservoir of knowledge regarding all things 7
related which we are more than happy to share.
You would be very welcome to come along to our
monthly meeting which is held at The Plough @ Eathorpe, which always
take place on the 'LAST' Wednesday of the month from 7.30 p.m. onwards.
A reasonable priced menu is available and many of the group do enjoy a
meal during the meeting. |
